Amanda Macdonald – Chairperson
Amanda has recently joined the Go Golspie Development Trust, prior to this she was involved in the review of the local YMCA building. She is also part of the Fountain Road Hall team, and organises the community markets which take place there on the weekends, usually at the end of the month, from March to November . Her interests are reading, soap making and light gardening.
Audrey Inkster – Treasurer
Claire Gordon – Secretary
Claire is an active member of the Rogart PTA; she has been with Go Golspie Development Trust since its inception and has offered key advice on transport and maintenance issues as her husband operates a local company called Waverley Engineering. She is also a member of a number of local groups.
Valerie Mackay – Trustee
Valerie runs her own hairdressing business and is a local employer in the village, she also manages and oversees her own self catering business in the area and has joined the Trustees within the last year.
Jayne Gutteridge – Trustee
Jayne, born in Cardiff, moved to Norfolk in 1984. She worked for the NHS for 20 years as an Administrator and Receptionist in a GP practice, and later as a Secretary/Administrator in the local hospital, and for 5 years for a charity providing support for patients with cancer or terminal illnesses . In 2021 Jayne moved to Golspie and became a Trustee in September 2023. She is a member of the East Sutherland Camera Club, Golspie Heritage Society and the Golspie branch of the Scottish Womens’ Institute.
Tessa Tills – Trustee
Tessa Till is a Private Client solicitor and also an Archaeologist. Tessa is returning to the Board of Go Golspie Development Trust, having previously been Chair. Tessa has lived in Golspie since 2021 and is involved in the local community being a member of the Golspie Rowing Club, Golspie Heritage Society and delivering heritage-based courses in the local area. She is passionate about helping Go Golspie Development Trust achieve its goals. Tessa lives with her partner, daughter, 2 dogs and cats in the village.
